Try not to feel guilty. Just do the best you can. Many mothers love working and many like staying at home...both are good choices if it's best for that mom. Try planning your day out.......playing with the kids, studying, house work and some me time. Make sure they take a nap (or lay in bed and read) for a little while everyday. Good luck and if you need to vent we/I am here for you!gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00894920637532415315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5814134126604794360.post-60248959947060901772010-12-09T15:13:15.402-05:002010-12-09T15:13:15.402-05:00well I think one thing that may make this differen...well I think one thing that may make this different is you will be having time away and adult interaction during your school time so maybe that will help but you may also keep an eye out for symptoms or talk to your doctor now and get on meds b4 you start! be proactive LOLperdidohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09325564420001013952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5814134126604794360.post-58972987033794052182010-12-08T10:33:49.576-05:002010-12-08T10:33:49.576-05:00I have never had that kind of depression, but I kn...I have never had that kind of depression, but I know that I am not the kind of person that could be a SAHM. I would go insane. I have a great sitter though and that makes a world of difference. I know my daughter is being loved and taught while I work. I am a much better mom because I work! Evryone is different. Do what works for you. Make sure you are taken care of first!Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06587186690785139860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5814134126604794360.post-10130749092353919852010-12-07T21:07:23.200-05:002010-12-07T21:07:23.200-05:00I can't be a SAHM; I've tried and ended up...I can't be a SAHM; I've tried and ended up on antidepressants. I am a much better mother when I'm taking care of myself, too. I *have* to work outside the home; once I got over the guilt of feeling that way, I started to enjoy my time with the kids a whole lot more. Don't worry about being home with them, because you will still be taking care of yourself by going to school three days a week.

There are people out there who will criticize you for saying this outloud, but just tune them out. You're doing what's best for you AND the kids.

I tell you what I learned from my short stint as a SAHM - I respect the hell out of them. Their job never ends, it's always just one thing after another and a good SAHM just rolls with it. God bless the women (and men) who can do it, because I can't.GunDivahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02965363044411500380noreply@blogger.com
